Hi folks, looking for some inspiration!

Recently acquired a BMC CDA kit from the Zone shop. Looks excellent, however when I went to fit it I found it's a bit of a tight squeeze... :?

Once the adaptor, Samco hosing and filter/housing is on the AFM, the overall length takes up all the space to the front of the engine bay. the cold air feed can be routed to the front of the car - I cut a hole in the plastic shield to the side of the radiator and took off the 'blanks' in the front grill so air flows in from the grill to the left of the headlights. However the hose extends a few inches into the engine bay, past the filter it's meant to join onto...

One person suggested routing air up from the brake cooling ducts, but wouldn't that mean bringing 'dirty' air into the engine?

So, has anyone else fitted one of these on an M20? Got any pictures? How did you route the air into the filter?

All / any advice welcome! :D

Anyone fitted one of these?

I was hoping to get some inspiration before the w/end so I can have a go at getting it fitted properly...
