hello lads.
i used to own a e28. and a good upgrade was to fit bigger e34 brakes.
does an anyone know of a similar method to uprate the e30 325i brakes.
if the brakes from a bigger bmw were to fit then it would also have the five stud configeration.
i look forward to reading any replys.
thanks

Go to www.300mm.de
You get audi TT discs, BMW e32 740/750 or e34 540 calipers with adapters for 300mm.
Nice cheap set up.

Not recommended. More fluid for the larger volume.
Why bother when you can buy a proper brake kit like i'm selling in the For Sale section for cheap money and be done with instead of trying to source all these different parts

The discs you can get from euro car parts and the calipers are cheap from the scrap yard.
16" wheel minimum Im guessing?ed325i wrote:Go to www.300mm.de

here we go again!!!!

i am soooo not a bloody noob!!!!
Dude for £500 you can have 305mm disks with 4pot willwood callipers brand new. Going and fluffing around with Audi this and that is likely to cost you the same if not more for something which looks like you copied from Blue Peter, as opposed to something specifically created for your car
This is as bad as the prats who buy second hand parts on ebya for more than a new one costs at the dealers
Ho well. Like my boss use to always tell me "A fool and his money are easily parted", so i hope you aint one

Not trying to start a war here or anything, but do the willwood kits accept standard disks (not the normal disks, but unmachined disks available from anywhere) or do you have to go back to the willwood supplier and get specially machined disks?
Its a genuine question, I got that impression from one of the original threads but never asked.

I think you have to get Wilwood disks, but dont quote me on it lol

the 270mm discs for the wilwoods i just bought are only 50 spondoolies , but that is the basic ones, i think anyways, and i reckon thats each, oh i dont know, i dont care, they are gonna look cool!
and i was sayin here we go again cause i just did a thread like this a week or so ago and got loads of peolple going mad over the wilwoods, the tt conversion and wms kits, it got quite catty! but it was a laugh!

while we're on the subject... i'm now among three zoners that i know of who can vouch for the WMS kit. this being the kit that everyone who makes the own laws of physics up seems to find hard to understand and accept!
anyway, no cattyness now ey lads?
ed, did you ever fully price up the e30.de option? on a even ground with new pads, lines, disks etc? also, did you happen to weigh it before you fitted (or is that the kind of thing that only i do!!!!!)

it's happening but with a lot of expansion and comercial admin going on, the M3 kit, along with a lot of others is so far not finished. it will happen sometime soon though.
