My front jacking points just disintegrated. Does anyone know if new ones are still being made? Or has anyone happened to cut some out of a crash-damaged E30, as I'm guessing most E30s at the scrappies will rusted to f@$k anyway.
Any ideas on what to do would be appreciated, as it looks like an MOT failure otherwise.
Cheers, Ian

i had mine welded a week ago, they tend to just grind off the old jacking point and just weld a plate on.
Doubt anyone uses the jacking points anyway, well you dont, or your jack would of ended up in the footwell it they were that bad

they are not jacking points, just where the shell was carried around in the factory. the chassis rail is where you should jack the car up.
this is why so many e30's are so rusty here, because they are being used for something they are not desingnd for.
just weld a plate there
