Hello there,
it's been a while since i've been on here mainly due to the fact of getting my E30 written off just over 2 years ago.
Some of you may remember from about that time that i used to post under the username of jamiepeers, if you do, hello again!

I've now got an E36 as my road slag, but have just purchased a "H" plate 325i with a friend to use as a track slag, so its back to e30 ownership, yay!!! 8)

Just thought i'd say hi to everyone, looking forward to posting on here again :D

Sorry for the late reply, i'm on nights and have been a bit busy checking if my parts had shifted ooo eerrr!

The plan is to run the two five on a smallish budget, without compromising safety or fun, hence the reason for buying the BMW in the first place, as its well built and quick straight out of the box. We'll be concentrating mostly on intake and exhaust mods, and suspension and brakes firstly, as i know we'll get round a track faster and have a lot more fun in a car that'll handle and stop well rather than one thats quick in a straight line but goes around corners like a WWI cannon.
When bought it had a zone chip in it, plus a K&N panel filter - which we didn't know about - , 3months tax and MOT, a blowing exhaust and a cracked passenger dipped beam headlamp. Mostly straight bodywork with a few tiny marks here and there but in really good nick for the money, infact an absolute steal!! All on a "H" plate. Its an SE model and also came with OBC, check control, full leccy pack and 5 15" BBS X spokers, and an Mtech 2 wheel.
So far, we've fitted a green induction kit and replaced the passenger main beam light with a funnel to direct air straight to the filter, so no hot air is being sucked from the engine  . A scorpion rear section has to go on, plus the car has been lowered on -60mm springs for now, shocks to follow when funds allow. Its been on a diet and theres absolutely feck all left of the interior, a momo wheel has replaced the mtech 2, and cobra seats have been purchased but yet to be fitted. Its ahd a full service and some new leads, rotor arm and dizzy cap, and new plugs.
Some "super 1600" decals have been fitted as a bit of tongue in cheek humour, and we'll probably put a 316i badge on the back.
The plan was to get it ready for the nurburgring this year as i've already been over and tracked my modded 328i, and we went last year in a pug 205 track day car which has been sold in order to get the 325i, however we're running a little late and so hopefully we will get to track it at least once this year on british soil

I'm thinking of smoking out the front lights as it won't be used on the road or in the dark, and we're toying with the idea of a starsky and hutch stripe down the side - because we can - as its all for a bit of a laugh really.
I know these cars inside out so its only right to get one as a bit of a cheap toy, i absolutely loved my last E30 and cried like a baby when it got totalled  . Hopefully it won't happen to this one :D
