I have hopefully recruited another zoner, a Belgian Guy with a Silver 320i Touring with all the options.
Felt such a T*sser but i've given him the site address perhaps he may join up...
or perhaps he has just run to the hills cos he thinks a weird bint was trying to chat him up
So do you feel daft aproaching strangers to tell them about here?

Hannah, as a girl you can get away with loads of stuff that blokes can't.
If any girl came up to me and started talking about cars in a knowledgable way, I'd be well chuffed.
Blokes like cars... blokes like girls... therefore a girl that likes cars is m m m m m m .

Not at all, most say it sounds like an excellent place. I dont just walk up to people at the road side and say about the zone, but when people buy from me i mention it.
They are all as crazy as we are.

I know how you feel. For people used to forums like us it's only natural. But to the general public they look at you very funny.
You gotta remember that unless people are officed based in which case e-mail/web are a part of daily life, most people are still unsure of the net, what it is, how to use it etc, the lack understanding. To suggest that they could talk to people online im sure makes them think we are wierdo's or something. Or the old stereotype about the forum being full of a bunch of nerds.
Thats my experience anyway, unless you work with computers daily it's all a bit confusing.

I tell every e30 driver about the zone, Ive even attacted some old boy in sainsburys before i think he though i was going to mug him him when i jump out my other motor
Ive also chased a cab in margate before to tell him about the zone, but the best one was when we were in Cypris and i was telling people out there my girlfriend went mental about me going on the zone whilst being out there and then proceeding to tell every e30 driver i saw out there about the zone, I must of wrote the website down at least 30 times for different peolpe out there

I dont chase people down the street with a scrap of paper with the URL on (that would be

)
However if i sell someting to a fellow E30 owner, i will mention the zone,
and give them a card. Its up to them if they want to join or not.
I also put a card on a black touring recently (no idea if they joined )

I assume you haven't met me then...
As for relationship, I have a hubby who may take offence
thats why i feel a plank, just in case guy's think I am chatting them up when i most certainly aint!
best set up a thread.. "does dobbie exist" nobody has met me yet!! (though zoners have met my dad my brother,, my hubby, my boss... I am never about)
