I dont know if thats good or not, but my 325i is averaging about 26.5mpg. Thats a daily 7 mile Devon A(ha!)-road commute to work every day and a mile or so into town a few times a week.
My previous 325i (no OBC) would give me approx 32mpg on a 50/50 motorway/A-road 600 mile round trip - done this a couple of times.
Mind you I dont drive like a twat or a grandad (if you'll excuse the expressions).

Well I picked my new 325i from Birmingham Saturday and managed to get from Birmingham to Essex on under a 1/4 of a tank! But I was doing 50mph with the bonnet open all the way!
50mpg!!! How's that for fuel economy!

Time to speak up for grandads!
You'd only be getting 20 mpg if you drove like this one!
Trilby, pipe and Volvo are only round the corner but hopefully I'll drift round it.

Having read the consumption horror stories on here I was pleased to see 300 miles from Ԛ£35 worth of Optimax. I do try and keep to 30mpg on the econometer, very difficult, except when some goon in a punto gt tried it on, he had "SLUT-DOG" in foot high letters on his rear windscreen!
