They seem to use just about any car for un marked stealth these days
only give away seems to be an extra ariel sometimes and they are fairly new cars, they also tend to be 4 door motors.

Yeah, well they use to have a Porsche 911 turbo around my area. I'd still take it in my Polo though i reckon

On a serious note though, i got pulled outside Hampton Court on Saturday. They were mounting a big operation and had a couple of those number plate reader units and apparently my car came up as having no insurance, so i got stopped by a cop bike. He was polite enough and took one look inside my car and said "You dont strike me as the type who'd drive a car like this with no insurance" We eneded up chatting about his cat and dog and i set off on my way again 15 minutes later

Like said though. Good that they are cracking down on things like that, cause at the end of the day, it's the law abiding citizin that ends up paying the price for the stupidities of the Chav's

I agree. I don't mind at all being pulled over for random stop checks as one day it might be my car that is stolen they pull over, or some chav with no insurance who they prevent wrecking my car and not paying for it!

Today in swansea they were stopping drivers for random eye tests!

Now that is cool, finally police actually doing something worth while, they do a lot of insurance/tax stop checks here too and thats great, speaking as a victim of an uninsured driver!!
