Ok, I have a 1990 Sport Evo.

I have the original wheels in good condition.

I have also got a set of refurbed Z3 alloys in a dark grey colour. (I use these as run-abouts so the originals don't get too dirty or risk damaging)

I have also seen some newly refurbed style 5's with dark centres which I really like.

The style 5's are around £750 which is a lot. So my question is, is it worth selling the originals to get the Style 5's. However, I would like to return it to standard if I fancied.

Or should I sell the Z3 alloys and fork out the large amount for the style 5's. Then again, I like having a set that are easy to clean!!

Also, I would like to lower my car a little as I think that the cars look soooo good just that bit lower. But, I like the handling and ride of the car as it is. What springs would be the best for the job. If I lower it about 15mm would this effect the camber or give any bump steer. Is it worth going to some coilovers, if so, which ones.

Any help is much appretiated.

i don't see a problem with a little moding on rare models but i would stress that u keep all the OE sport evo parts for maximum value come resale time.

springs? i'd consider H&R springs

rims? keep the originals and do what u would like with the other wheels!
