Can anyone describe a Moonroof for me please?
I know it's a rare item but what is it & how does it operate, etc.
Thanks

its a glass sunroof.
they were available for the e30. a rare option.
they work in the same way as the normal sunroof, with the tilt and slide. but also have a sliding cover in the headlining to stop light comming in.
ive never seen one on a uk e30. except on a touring at aces.
scott 325se was selling some sort of renualt clio monkey hybrid moonroof a while back.

Cheers John.
Down at the scrappers earlier & I thought that Xmas had come early.
Bought the sunroof on the offchance but it looks as if it's just a tinted aftermarket jobbie after all.

They come up on eBay.com from time to time, but they fetch mega-money and often the seller won't ship outside the USA.
I was watching one a while ago and he wouldn't even ship to Canada!

This is why I no longer drive an E30......
