Just had a peep in the zone shop and noticed the chips which quote a healthy power increase for little money.
Do they work?

Are they easy to fit? and if so where should I be looking?

Easy to do mate.
Where your kneecap is below the steering wheel, there is a cover which you can see the three screw which each need a quarter turn and the panel will drop down. You will see the ECU there, and you will need to undo the four 10mm (I think) nuts/bolts which hold it on. You can then remove it, and need to undo the phillips screws and bend the tags over which hold the cover on.
The chip you change is the one with the cover on. Don't touch the connections!
Pretty easy, if a bit fiddly. The panel you remove is a crap design, so watch how it comes off at the base, it just slides in, but because it sags, it sometimes falls off and you can't use the pedals!
You should notice a gain, with either the wild (I'd go for that in your case) or mild chip. Less hesitation and it should pull better, it should idle slightly higher too. Another idea maybe to go for the Big Bore Throttle Body which is an exchange basis. £120 I think.
