Well, I have to take my hat off to the Alpina boys yesterday.

I entered the Alpina section of the display at Gaydon and walked freely amongst the Alpina cars without any questions or staring. I didn't have to display a special pass, or pay for the privilege... and I almost got to touch one... but it was an old 'C plate' C2... so does that count? I was very impressed. It was almost as if they were just normal people.

But then I got talking to Simon and realised they aren't normal people at all. :wink:

I think all the club members must have been in the que for a burger G, i still felt a bit out of place wandering through there though :lol:

in true alpina snobebry style, me and my mates actually got given the evils when we were taking photos of ome e38 and e36 alpenis'.

Simon should have his own council alpina owners section, as hes the only one :o

i thought i was speaking clearly untill i had to keep on repeating myself, bloody southerners :lol: the scottish lads understood me ok

good day though, good to catch up with some of the southern lads and lasses, good fun had by all, especially seeing pete make a incredibly council style exit winkeye
