woo hoo!

Great to go out for a spin ain't it :D

Was the screamer pipe doing it's thing in the vid or was not making enough boost?

Cheers dude, I couldn't hear the ticking when I was driving so no idea how the camera picked that up :D

Spools earlier and softer now, from the datalogs I have boost @ 2900 now and it peaks at about 3700 which is much better than before, seems to breathe better

Now time to sort the AFRS out as I was running way rich!

Aah, was that noise the boost solenoid?

What sort of settings has it got on, only sounded like it was doing something at really low speeds?

If you turn it up you can hear it a few times, sounds like a howling wind forced through a 1.5 inch pipe!

I loved being out again, I managed 3 round the block trips before I had spectators winkeye Only vid'd the last one as I wanted to see how the camera would work, seemed ok tho.

You're turn now Alex! I'll wait till I can redline it in all gears before I post another one

Nope, thats still in the shed, need to map it first and then add that on to give me my 1 bar back or maybe 1.5

At the mo I was hitting 8.5 psi and it really felt slow although I didn't go over 85% TP and never held my foot in over 4k.

Until it's mapped properly again I'm gonna nurse it, then it's getting ABUSED!

youve just reminded me about the exhaust-just sent Ant p.m .. :o

i take it you mean less backpressure ?sent a txt to your phone but failed?have you got a picture of the down pipe going through block/column and i take it ,it is 3 inch?

ive just got a v-band made and put my wideband bung in the first piece of pipe-do the bendy bits next 8O

Less back presure is the theory behind it and it's certainly effected the right areas :D

My phones off this week, off work and they've been funny with me in the past over holidays so it's off and they can wait till I'm back next week!

3 inch all the way, the route is too the right of the steering and a slight 20' degree bend to pass the bottom of the block and out into the exhaust channel. Sharp 90 to send it back under the car.

It's not ideal and will need a bracket welding to the exhuast to prevent it moving, when I next get to use a ramp I'll sort it.

Check my exhaust pics in the other thread, pics show the whole thing!

sweet,

a quick note,
don´t ever put your arm or finger or whatever inside the steering wheel when turning, if you have an accident of anykind the backlash of the steering can bust you arm up real nice,
I see that women tend to drive that way by putting there hands inside the steering wheel,
I always remind them of the possible conseqenses
With great challenges comes great engineering.

Your H1C is 18cm2 rear housing yeah? I think I might buy one that's for sale, should be perfect for 1bar on my 2.7 :)

What manifold are you running?

I have a custom ATECH manifold that Ant fabbed for me, has had a hard life and will be changed soon when I get my ass in gear and make another one!

There are pics in the STAGE 2 thread in this section.

Thanks, Mark.
