my monday morning of aimless web browsing
brought the above mentioned to my attention.
Always dreamt of a RHD E30 M3 but was put
off by the fact the 325i steering rack not delievering the
equal amount of thrills.
Has anyone any info on the above or even better any
experience of one?

I can't answer your question directly but have you considered using an E36/Z3 rack? You will need to make up a new steering yoke and have your manifolds re-engineered/replaced.

I beleive the Z3 1.9 rack will take you dwon to about 3 turns lock to lock which is better than the std M3 rack and they are very cheap (I imagine a prodrive RHD E30M3 rack will be mega £Â£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£, unless you are talking about an E36M3 item?). Doubt thats nearly as quick as the prodrive one but if its for a road car thats probably a bonus!

You should ask the same question on www.s14.net too. Those guys are very tech/track orientated so will have all the answers you are after.

Good luck mate.

Just buy a LHD one. Its not like the car is any wider when you sit on the left. :)
