Any suggestions for breaking in to my own 1990 E30 Baur 325?
Parked up for a week at a friends place and the battery is as flat as a pancake. Not enough juice to trigger the aftermarket remote locking. Irritatingly the clock still works, but the dashboard alarm/locking led is not flashing.
Appears to be deadlocked - the key wont work in either door or the boot.
Tips from successful burglars most appreciated - especially if it doesnt involve window breaking.
assuming I get into the car - is there a way of then getting to the battery in the boot?
I can call out recovery, but I'd prefer minimal damage............
Help - I'm locked out!

you shouldnt have any trouble getting into the boot with the key. if the c/l works or not.
And since this is a public forum, it isnt a good idea to post up for everyone to see how to break into our cars.

Why not? My Sport doesnt have a battery in it at all, and I still deadlock the drivers door with the key.Baurbore wrote: Appears to be deadlocked - the key wont work in either door or the boot.
Even when the battery died (when I was using the car) and all doors were deadlocked, I could open the drivers door with the key.

jack up car and put the neg jump lead to chassis and the live on to starter lead then open car with key/fob....
mine is r/cl no locks so i do this every time battery has draine...
simple ideas are the best...lol
by starter lead the main battery lead from boot to starter motor on solenoid...careful if car is in gear ...

Thanks to everyone, particularly gcorky for the feedback. This I'll try.
Anyway, to clear up the point - the locks will not budge with the key and I'm not keen to add to the prob with a snapped one in the lock. Boot is the same. Drivers door & boot locks will go a quarter turn anti clockwise. Trying clockwise doesnt work.
Smithy318i makes a good point about not advertising theft skills on the forum, I just assumed that tealeaves used the kind of equipment that Mikey-t had in mind rather than worrying about damage.
And yes, it is MY bootiful H plate 325i manual Baur Cab in Dolphin Grey with 70k on the clock and - usually-running like a dream. I bought it because its rare (can't be many Baurs registered that late, and even fewer with the 2.5 man, most seem to be 1.8 or 2.0 auto) smooth and fast.Would post pics if my computer skills were any better than my mechanical ones.
