I got my camera out took one pic of a white E30 M3 and the batteries died, I think I need some new rechargable batteries as I only charged them up the night before.

So keep the pics coming, anyone got one of my touring, it was towards the back of the E30 section near the Zone Shop.

It was a bit overcast, couple of spots of rain, sun one minute cloudy the next. Really good show, lots of E30's, I really like the E30 pickup 8)

No cameras allowed on track, prototype cars may be seen.

I hope these guys are reading this, as they were bloody stars

S14 lump in this 8)

Now I went on track, indeed some of you may have seen my car with the gaffer tape on the plate. But I have to say 2 things.

1) If thats a "Test Track" then Im a lemon. Its just a giant Oval, and as a result boring as hell.

2) Drivers briefings are supposed to inform. Which is not what happened. Saying about "No overtaking the pace car" is fine, but when we all drove off from the group photo it was bloody chaos. There needed to be a set rule as to overtaking other cars. i.e on the Right like on the road, but there wasnt and Im amazed there werent more close shaves. As people have cars passing on the left and right, then having to brake hard to avoid a rapidly slowing Jaguar. I apologise if anyone had to take avoiding action due to me on the track, (I think not) but it was stupid out there!

Overall. Not a bad day, probably won't go next year. And 1 burger van for 2K people is unacceptable!

Can I just add this pic

Image

This had 2 air filters under the bonnet, one attached to the Inlet and one with a pipe going intot he inner wing. So I asked the guy "Why has it got 2 air filters"

Answer was

"Ones for the induction kit on the engine, the others for the electronic dump valve..."

I just nodded and said "aahh I see" and walked away

Should of expected it really given it had a M3 badge on the arse and more stick on Chrome than the entrie Halfords network.

Rich W... Under the pic of Rick Kerry's Kumho E36 M3 you've got "I hope these guys are reading this, as they were bloody stars".... how come?

I should have been there too with my cars but my tow car is a little sick to say the least!! Spent all day yesterday trying to get it to fire up after fitting a new head, but it's having none of it
