I would say that Karans 3.6 S38 will be up there with one of the fastest!

as a new kid, I'd say Fuzzy's has got to be in the list too

oh, and keep an eye out for new boy SPADGE, he'll no doubt come up with something pretty rapid given his previous..

Glenn's M5 V8 powered beast will be a quick bit of kit when it's done.
Dips seems to have a rather large collection of special E30's
Toby's M30 Turbo is no snail I would guess
Buster has just finished his Mpower transplant too
23rd september at the pod will reveal a few I would think

Logic: They have a little bit of lag, so that they don't get too much wheelspin off the line, then all hell breaks loose.(subsequently breaking loose) hmm logic flawed

BTH i think the only way to have the fastest/most powerful E30 is to put a super charged S54 in the bay.
Its the best of everything!

I'm gonna claim the title of "most middlingest" E30 on the Zone before anyone else does
would say toss up between Karan's s38, Glenn's M5 and dips' V12 monsta I think. All around the 400 pony mark. Hard call as they are all cracking engines. Toby get up to 10psi and it should see about the same power!

The "Fastsest" on the day will most likely not be the most powerful. Its going to be a combination of grip, power and who's driving!!! But imo something with between 380/400bhp will be the best combo out there. Too much power i.e over 400bhp is just going to be spinning up for the best part of the qtr mile which will cost it dearly.
i ve seen 600hp m20 do 9 sec 1/4 and that wasnt spinning, think he had radials on stock sized steels but cant rember may he been bottle tops, people over 400 hp wont just be spining if they can drive well or have some kind of launch control

even with my modest power compaired to the big guns i can still feel the back end trying to break out at full boost, trying to keep 600 bhp under control must be a nightmare.isnt 9 second quarters for drag racers with serious power etc?
