Hi Chaps. I'm new to the forum. Firstly
I've just purchased some CARNAUBA GOLD WAX from the following website:-

http://www.stevescleenz.co.uk/online_shop.htm

I have to say that I was most impressed with the results and the price. A deep shine which lasted for weeks. For best results I'm going to seal the wax in with Autoglym Super resin Polish. I also purchased some Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection. Again superb polish with excellent results. 325i Sport Lachs Silver

Autoglym...? *spit* - why ruin your wax by putting crap polish on top of it...?

There's a huge amount of posts about what polish is the best to use on the Zone. There are varying degrees of polish / waxes you can buy, but Meguiars / Zymol and Zaino are widely recognised as being the best ones to use.

Welcome to the Zone by the way.

Pics of your car...? 8)

Please try these two links. The car was posted twice over a three year period. Hope they work!

Welcome to the zone mate.

4 times a week, i thought i was bad!

As far as polish goes, zaino is the best around. Its not cheap but you sound like a man that wants the best!

Search in teh photo gallery, you will find loads of pics of freshly zaino'd cars (mine included :D )

Thanks.

It took me long enough to find one. Searched high and low for one and as you'll all know there's a lot of dodgy one's out there.
All in all a good car.

Polishes and waxes arne't cheap but it's worth the money in the long run.
I'm going to invest in one of those Porta Cable Polishers in the not to distant future. I've heard they're pretty good.

I've never heard of zaino before. What sort of money are we talking??

Thanks for the link.
After reading so many articles on detailing I thought I'd invest in a clay bar and lubricant.
After carefully washing and drying I started the claying.......

What can I say, the clay was more cleaner than when I took it out of the packaging!. Thats no joke.
It didn't lift a fly nor a spec of dust.

So I must be doing something right

I'll have to give the zaino product a try in the future.
First I must use up all the other cleaners I have before I spend any more cash. Looks good though. The packs seem reasnonable too.

Thanks Josh. Paid quite a bit for it and have spent double on cosmetic/running costs.
There's no mods, all standard. Just enjoy keeping it simple.
