Hi!

I'm having major problems with my heater blower and the resistor... well actually i don't exactly know what's wrong so i ask for help

My problem is following
my heater blower works on 1-4, but the problem is that on 1-3 the resisotrs cut the power to the blower after some time
I inspected the resistors pac and the wires get glowing red
I also tried to replace the resistors pack with another one and it did the same

So i decided to take out the blower and inspect it
I used WD40 to clean the electrial stuf of it so now its completely clean

i asembeld it back together and the problem is still there

I got clueless after that because i don't know anymore for what to look at

please help
i don't want to spend a whole fortune on car electricans

thanks for help
Damjan

ps oh and sorry for my english(i'm from slovenia)

i would help but i cant. i have more or less the same problem for a few weeks but i have not got to fixing it yet.

an electrician said it could be the circuit board? try replacing that? or testing it.
have you checked the motor runs freely?

i am going to tackle mine at the weekend, if i can pass on any advice i will send you it.

good luck

found the problem..
the resistors pack wasnt in the slot in the plastic of the ventilation tubes so it wasn't cooled...
