I have th option to get some M3 clocks for my project. I need the 8K redline and the oil temperature ( I NEED them OK? :-) ).

The clocks are in KM/h and my existing clocks are in MINT comdition, are in MPH and only have 65K on them.

Would it be possible to buy the M3 clocks and fit the best bits of each into one unit? I was thinking glass/shell from mine, the face plate from the M3 ones (for the M logo), Speedo and everything else from mine and the needles and Tacho/oil temp from the M3 clocks.

This would give the red needles, M logo, 8K tacho, Oil temp, MINT glass and shell and that warm feeling you get when you successfully modded stuff.

I also have some MRoadster clocks. Perhaps I could fit the red E36 needles and some chrome at the same time or is that too much? I do hate the chav.

Many thanks for any help....

Doesn't the tacho use the coding plug for the 4cyl/6cy; differences?

Also, I have to buy a pulse converter thingy anyway as the ECU from my S50B32 is approximately 12% above the normal 6 cylinder E30 anyway and will need re-sampling.
