new sump gasket, oil , oil filter and sealing ring are required
drain the oil, remove filter, ideally let it sit for an hour to get properly drained down.
to remove, you need to removing the lower bellhousing extension under the sump itself.
once thats removed, unbolt the engine mountings @ the subframe.
Slacken sump bolts off, dont let it drop off @ this stage.
Using trolley jack, with a wooden pad on the lifting arm, raise the engine from the subframe by jacking @ the gearbox side of the bellhousing, there should now be space to remove the sump without having to 1st remove the oil pump assy.
Make sure and support the engine by blocking between mounts and subframe with timber/whatever, safety above all else.
the rest is simple, out with the old, in with the new. Probably a good idea to replace the engine mounts too, they are cheap as chips.
Should also add, this is a much nicer job, if you steamclean the underside beforehand
