Zone Chip? Newbie needs advice please!!!!!

Hi

Have recently bought a 325i auto convertible

1. What sort of difference does a chip make? (performance/fuel econ)

2. Which 1 is better for an Auto?

3. How difficult to fit? is it a DIY job or one to get help with

The chips give better throttle response and some people claim better fuel econony but you seem to drive the car harder with a chip.
From what I understand, a mild chip is best for an auto.
Its very easy to fit, should take about 15 mins but you must take care.

Steviec has said the bare bones of it. He's spot on and I've had those results with my chip. Using the search function will bring up lots more info that has already been written.

romario, the zone chip will improve the car as stated above, for the autos we concentrate on more midrange torque and a better spread of power, rather than outright balls out BHP, suits the auto far better

or and I've removed your Avitar, it needs to be a lot lot smaller , 80x80 max please.
