Guys,

I'm selling my Exhaust and was wondering if theres any tips for doing this..

i need to disconnect it at the downpipe (manifold end) but it looks like the steering gear is in the way big time, i havent been able to get under the car and have a look yet by the way.

I'm guessing i don't need to move anything steering related to do this?

Also i've undone some of the manifold nuts, but not all are coming off being just the nut! infact most are coming out with the stud aswell  is this normal?

Firstly. No steering parts need to be removed to remove the exhaust manifold.

and. Yes, sometimes the studs come out of the block before the nuts come off. (you need to worry more about sheering the studs off inside the head tbh)

As above really, I would remove the downpipes with the manifold at the same time, and then separate them once it is off and more accessible.
