This has probably been extensively covered, but will a 325 inlet manifold mate up ok onto a 2.0 block, and will there be any benefit without other mods?

It would fit straight on, yes... but I think the ports are larger on the 325i inlet manifold, so the inlet ports on the head would need enlarging to match, otherwise there's no point in fitting it.

Injectors are different too.

ok, so if all i can find is a 2.5 inlet it'll go on no problem but won't necessarily improve things? Thanks for the reply.

It'll have larger injectors on it, and the larger throttle body, so it will have SOME effect...

It will actually cause problems as there is a sudden chance in diameter size and where the inlet (large diameter) goes to the head (small diameter). Round the edges the air will actually have to stop and therefore cause turbulence.
