Nice one. It's already got the Tech 2 kit on though, right?

Get it home, stick your rims on and take some photos!

Makes me want to go buy another E30!

That will look awesome when done. You've got me thinking now - id love to start a project!

I would do pretty much the same as you with regards to the car but id want an s50 engine, 5 stud conversion and some tasty bbs rs wheels. Plus a bit of booty style pimping, white leather, tv's etc.

Might have to see if theres a shell for sale :D Only problem is i have no mechanical skill whatsoever!

ID love to do all of the above what you have said but the bloody cost of things once you get started spirals out of control! no doubt in a few months ill have screens and dvd player "for the kids" :) well thats what the mrs will be told winkeye

I know what you mean, just the few things i mentioned there would cost 7k atleast! The only way i would be able to do it would be long term, get a few bits done then save up for more.

I think what you have planned can be achieved relatively cheaply now that you have a decent base car and those gorgeous wheels.

By the sounds of it all that needs doing is the engine, interior and maybe a respray of the front bumpers to make the car mint.

Cant see that running to more than 2k but maybe im being optimistic, not knowing the condition of the car/interior.

engine is deffo 1st on the hit list, its just will i have enough money let to do it... im rather hoping so mate!

interior is pretty lush, not perfect but i can cope with that for a while!

not seen paint job up close, but my machanic friends brother is a sprayer so no probs there either! its just time more than anything.. the only problem i have is i dont want to run out of money half way through the engine conversion!

Its not that expensive a job to do Pete!
If you get all the parts first, I got half the money for the conversion by selling my engine!

OK soz for sayin the 'F' and 'C' words guys, I was getting mixed up with my colours, The colour i was thinking of was metallic magenta, which looks simular to calypso, and some ford guys refer to it as calypso.
