Alternatively burn all the rubber off the old bush. This leaves the metal frame of the bush. Use a hacksaw to cut halfway down each side leaving a strip in the middle. Bend the two strips over at ninety degrees and drill 12 mm holes in them. Put this "tool" between the subframe and the bodywork. Put a 12 mm threaded rod through from the inside of the car down through the tool and the subframe. Put the new bush on the other end of the rod and using suitable washers and nuts and fairy liquid (or ideally silcone grease), tighten the nuts on the 12 mm rod to pull the new bush up into the subframe.
