This weekend has seen the newly titled
Rally Isle of Man and with 10 WRC rally cars I noticed they were filling up with Tesco 99 octain fuel which we don't have here on the IoM (max is Total 97). So I went up and asked if I could buy some and eventually I managed to scrounge 20 liters off them into a Jerry can.
The fuel I was given was a mixture of the 99 oct and the 101 octain so I have a question:
Q: Will my 325 track car run OK on this or will I need to make any adjustments to handle this high octain fuel? It usually runs on 97octain with no problems.
Any ideas guys?
Cheers
Ian
PS The guys on the WRC stands were stood around where in the classic section with Mark 1 and 2 escorts, 911's, Lotus sunbeams it was buzzing - Give me the old school every time
