I have had a bad weekend with my zone filter  The filter bracket gave way ripping down on the balows creating splits etc and in gerneral causing the car the breakdown

I got the car home after some duck tape etc and took off the balows, tomson sent me out a balow yesterday and i fitted it tonight (cheers tomson your a star).

I wasnt happy using metal to hold up the filter so i made my own using a old air box housing

Here's what I done

I have angled the front of the filter down to allow the feed to work, I used a metal bar to steadyt he filter and hold the front end down.

Let me know if u guys think this is ok or any other comments to fix it would be great

Thanks
Neil

P.s. Ill get some pic's of it on the car tomorrow

Can you not buy K&N power blankets over there ?
Lot easier than making boxes out of aluminium !!

Sure .. might not be today as I'm off to the FCK vs Ajax match.
But it's a large heat reflective blanket that comes with a bunch of cable ties and a plastic strip which you fit around the top (this then touches the bonnet insulation)
They recommend you fit it with a cool pipe ... just an aluminium flexible pipe that you fit one end into the blanket and the other end to the air source .. eg behind the grill.

Quick question Neil,
Did you have all the other bits with the mtech1 front ... brake ducts and the flat bits that go either side ??

Where does yout sensor for the OBC temp gauge go ?
Normally sits in the black "lip" but with the new front it sits in the brake duct.
I finally got my pearl beige gear and handbrake gaitors yesterday... they're great.
