Most M3's did not have side repeaters. Only the UK spec cars did.

They should have them after 1986 but i see alot of cars after without them. M3bens for example doesn't have them and his was built after.

2nd cable is Cruise Control.

As for colour. Not really bothered nowadays. As long as it looks good, which both these do

No. I'm sure it was an MOT fail if it was after 86.

Not sure when it became an MOT faliure mate but i know all the freshly imported M3's iv seen have not had them fitted. Im guessing a lot of them have had them retrofitted because of arsey MOT inspectors.

Mine's been in the uk for well over 10 years and passes its MOT every year.

i agree they look well with out. it is a nct( irish mot) failure here. white is hard enough to get in them but both are stunning good examples.

AS above, technically a fail on a post 86 car. But many testers dont seem concerned as the cars LHD (which confuses them :D ) and most seem to work on the "if it aint there it cant be tested" rule.

As above, if my car ever required them fitting I would put them in the mirrors, as the wings look much nicer with out them

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. They are both bloody stunning and i would jump at the chance of owning either. Would possibly choose black to go with my black IS.lol. But i like white. However the white ones an evo?? Hmm, i really dont know. Possibly the white one....nah, black. Nah white.lol. On a serious note the evo part might win it for me.

Nope, car is not an evo, just some ncie extras fitted to the car.

All facelift headlights are convertible from LHD to RHD in a couple of minutes, 3 screws on the back of the headlight, job done.

Just to answer some more Q's, think most have been answered, side repeaters are a legal requirement, for cars made after 1986, and it depends on where the car is taken for MOT I suppose, have read a few posts where people have suddenly had the car fail for not having them.
My car has got away with it since 1997.

Extra throttle cable is for cruise control.

Extra aerial is something all the german cars seem to have fitted, mine had one but in place of the normal aerial, it's connected to a silver box that is located above the glovebox.

i have a 89 m3 and the lights are orange/yellow doubt they will pass the mot but they are the face lift ones so might try to change them from lhd to rhd if i can?other than that i will have to locate a spare set of clear ones are they the same as the 325?

Both m3's look amazing but i'm gna have 2 say i prefer the white m3

No. I'm sure it was an MOT fail if it was after 86.
I dont have the side repeaters on my car either from what i hear if you have side reepeaters on your car and they don't work then its a MOT failure but if your car doesn't have them at all then it will pass the MOT same applies with the tread on the spare wheels.

Nope, afraid not, cars built after 1st April 1986 legally require side repeaters.

i cant decide which so id have to have both winkeye my car failed its mot last month because i hadnt got around to fitting the side repeater to the new wing i had fitted,it has to be there.although i did find out that reverse lights arent included in the mot as mine havent been wired up to my cossie box yet but was told they didnt matter :?
