Can someone provide torque and power outputs of the following engines:

1. M20 2.5l

2. M30 3.5l

3. S50 3.2l

Those figures appear to be wrong / confusing.

Would you choose a M30 or M50 engine for a 325i conversion?

an m30 will be a 2.8 3.0 or a 3.5 in most cases

Just that some other places quote figures at different rpms, ok I get it now

1. M20 2.5l = 171bhp@5800rpm, 167lbf.ft@4000rpm

2. M30 3.5l = 211bhp@5700rpm, 225lbf.ft@4000rpm

3. S50 3.0l = 286bhp@7000rpm, 236lbf.ft@3600rpm

4. S52 3.2l = 321bhp@7400rpm, 258lbf.ft@3250rpm

Shouldn't it be 4000rpm for torque of M20 :?
