H&R 60/40 Cup Kit Installation Help

I am putting the front springs/shocks in tomorrow (H&R 60/40 Cup Kit). Are there any tricks? It looks like I have to use spring compressors to get the shock to go through the top hat. Putting new bump stops in aswell, do I have to shorten the bump stops?

i wouldnt think so
but regarding the spring compressors, do not put any bodyparts above the spring once the top hat is loose, they have tons of energy in them (literally) and will do damage if the compressors brake or slip off.
