Hey guys- i've been browsing the site for a few days and all i can say is that i've never seen such a high concentration of mtech e30s on one forum in my life, it kind of makes me sad that i don't have an mtech 2 kit- yet

haha. anyway- i'm no stranger to e30s, i've had 4 to date- a 1985 325e, an M3, a 325is and my current one- a 325i. i've attached a few pics of my cars for your viewing pleasure-

you've got a great site here, keep up the good work!

here's one of my old M3 an 88 hennarot. god i miss this car, but i couldnt afford the damn s14!
Image

and my current car-
1990 325i black/black w/ an e36 5 lug swap. i'm running 245/35/17's on all four corners. the wheels are from the rear of 2 e36 m3's (double spoke 2's 8.5 inches each)

enough talking, here's some pics of my baby.

Firstly welcome to the Zone  Good to see more peeps from across the pond..

Secondly your car looks sweet as buddy, love the wheels and that number plate :bling: :bling: is all I can say...totally awesome. Is that a 318is front bumper you have their, with the lip on it??

Oh, your m3 looked spot on too, looks like you've had a nice collection of e30's!

actually, all 89+ e30s (except the M3's) in the US had the same front valence. and the lip is an IS lip, yes.

Looking good! I had a great time a few years back trekking round California, lovely place to be.

Any more details about the e36 front suspension setup, I've got some of the bits to go on my next project, just interested to see how you did yours. :D

Sweet looking car and I love the use of the E36 M3 wheels... my favourtie E36 rims.

Not a bad looking E30 considering it comes from the land of Diving Board bumpers!

Oooh, and before I forget, welcome to the Zone!

welcome, real nice collection. the black 325i reminds me of my black 325i before it got vandalize by a female. one question though. in order to do the 5 lug conversion from a e36 what did you use. rear axle and front struts? and did you have to use e36 calipers?

Not quite sure about the relevance of your post, but what the hell happened to that E30 in the pic'? Is it yours??

sure, i just used the 96+ front control arms, and i used the trailing arms from a 318ti. its pretty much plug-and-play, although i don't have ABS. but i prefer it that way anyway.

thanks for the kind words- and yes, i am a member of e30tech, but mostly i post on r3vlimited.com

a full modlist and most of my good pics can be seen at www.fivelug.com

thanks guys.
