I didn't bond with this car, but I didn't mean to break it! It was meant to be a part exchange on my next one!
There will shortly be an ad in the wanted section for it's (cheap) replacement.

Get it fixed, don't give up on it :thumb:

Erm, I feel bad. :(

I told you it was a decent car, and Scott's shown me the pics of the 'nasty' bits. Feel really bad. I had no idea.

Sorry about the accident though. Bit of a bugger.

Giles.

I don't know (my favourite words today) how it happened I just remember spinning and spinning and then heading for the hedge, hitting it stopped the spinning! There were other cars about and I managed to miss them all, which was good.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it now, I'll sleep on it and hopefully come up with a plan.
Johnno, It's Sterling Silver, It took ages to find a 2 door in a colour I liked.
Giles, No worries I took a big ebay gamble.
Scott, I was looking forward to my new car.

how many spins did u do exactly? (or approximately) 8O

As long as u didnt hit the hedge too hard and bend a front subframe or anything, it should be fixble. Not sure either of us want to spend mega money repairing that shell though eh? :?

Michelle, keep me informed darlin. u got my mobile number if i recall. bell me on it tomoro coz im out all day.

u can still have your new car.... promise

sorry to hear this missy (michelle). don't want to sound blood thirsty but how did it happen, i mean was it a patch of diesel or something similar, or grit/gravel on the tarmac. just curious as i had a spin about two/three weeks ago on some balck ice while taking it easy(due to the -2degrees) and was very lucky in the fact that i susstained absolutly no damage at all.

however if you would prefer not to mention the details on here then that is perfectly understandable and i will not harrass you for a reply.

jsut glad to hear that you are ok, a car can be replaced. flesh can't

Sorry to hear that, main thing is you're OK, and the car looks quite fixable.
Anyway you've not really gone through the full e30 initiation ceremony until you've spun one!
Cheers,
Robin

backwards is fine, its when you end up doing donuts on a slip road with no tyre screach at all and absolutly no response/control over what is happening that is bad ( a la billgates stylee )

If Simon sees that post he's gonna start worrying that you arent taking care of it..... you do know that dont you!????

Im sure other people on here are thinking the same thing, so i'll say it on their behalf........ "PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont stack Simons old Sport!!!!!" The amount of time he spent getting that car to that standard.... please dont stack it.

Im not saying ur a crap driver or that i think u r gonna stack it, or that you shouldnt drive it, but that car means something to so many Zoners.. I probably would cry if u mangled it.... likewise Ants old Sport and Si316's M10 powered beast...... well known and respected cars in their own individual rights. Not preaching honest...just get concerned when things like that are said..... i get all worried!!!

don;t worry mate....i was worried and i even posted that up a few weeks ago when it happened.....like i said, nothing i could have done to aviod it.

only doing 40 MPH and was in third under very little acceleration. nowt could be done and there was absolutly no damage what so ever so i am very very very relieved. as i'm sure simon will be.

i know how much this car is loved. i recieved so much feedback when i bought it asking me to take car of it and make sure that it was kept standard. i think that if i did stack it i wouldn't be able to look simon in the eye, or paula for that matter. all is good now though as the bastard balck ice is gone (i hope) and the road salt will dissapear. so she will get a good summer treatment.

Damage doesn't look like it hit very hard.

Scott, I suggest you find an empty wide roundabout and spin your car now! get it out of the system before the sport is on the road ;)

Chris aka BillGates, I really don't know what happened it could of been gravel on the road. I took it out for a drive tonight but driving very slowly.
Adam, I live near St Austell I crashed about a minute away from home. I had been hoping to have Scott's car. If you're looking to sell yours how much are you asking? I might be able to handle a 318 better and yours is a pretty colour which is more important to me than power!

Michelle, i think adam has just about got his car the way he wants it and im not sure he'd part with it (i could well be wrong, but thats the vibe i get)

You still can have my car, id just like to see the repair estimate and id be happy to still go ahead (im waiting on a dry day to do you pictures)
