just given my engine a full service and i'm having a few problemswith getting the bleeding car to start.
it will stsrt just not first time, it takes two or three attempts. any one got any idea on what it could be?
plugs, leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm etc all replaced about a week ago.
Im carless, BUT, hope to remedy that fairly soon, plus, need to actually be able to drive first so that gets priority!!

did you set the plug gaps?
remove the new cap -does it look burnt on terminals?is it tracking -any sign of cracks?

few ideas to start going from your info and assuming it was ok prior to your work.

may need to remove that timing cover first, then do what you have to drill it etc....would be able to give a good soak first when off.
