i have a set of 17" alloys and was wondering how to check if they are genuine alpina? are there any markings that would tell me if they are or not?

well not strictly true - only not real if you want ones specific to e30 - could have a 5 stud conversion and put some e36 or other alpinas on. there are marking but if you have 4 stud then they'll be copies

They would have alpina written in the centre by the bolts if genuine and 5 bolt holes. You'll probably find they are BK Racing

There were 4 stud alpinas in 17", they were the rare wheels as fitted to the alpina Z1.....very unlikely though!
