nice, there used to be a baur version near me, but never seen a full working cabrio version apart from that mess in bmw car magazine a few years back

i've seen a 6 cab once on the M4 i did look twice

Steve i'm sure if u sold your cab for 6k it would be a good start for funding it

that picture of the 6 has been taken at a good angle.

ive seen a few of these conversions. they look like hell, nasty things.

just like that e21 cabriolet posted a few months back.(the baur version was bad also)

there couldnt have been a market for a large cabriolet back in those days. the 8 series was also never made into a cab, but again there was some nasty conversions on the go.

but still wrong too

its a fookin coupe why chop it??
all the extra strenghtening must weigh loads and the 6 isnt light to start with

sorry but not for me

have had a couple of 6s and they good enough as bmw intended imo :cool:

i like it but i think the proportions of the car suit a coupe body better than a convertible with the long bonnet and stubby tail, classic coupe shape
