could someone tell me the part number for this?
My local BMW dealers are saying they can't find it at all on their system.
My car is overfuelling, starting poorly, smoking at idle and giving bad economy, I thought it was worth at try..
Cheers

Is there any way of telling if it has failed.
Maybe reading off of a multimeter?
Just thought it would be useful to know whether it needs changing?

The reading obviously changes with temp... but at room temp 21Deg C i believe they are supposed to read 2.5kohm.Project_E30 wrote:Is there any way of telling if it has failed.

I had a dodgy sender in my iS a while back, and i tried comparing the new and old senders against each other, they both appeared to give approx the same readings, but the car ran a whole load better with the new sender in!
