If lowered spings on e30 estate are fitted can you leave standard shock absorbers on.

yes u can as long as u dont go too low as the cra could fail the mot if the shocks are too long and allow the springs to pop out--so shortened sttiffer sports dampers are advised

plus the lower springs will wear the damper out quicker..
