I have a convertible E30, and one of the sprig loaded flaps for covering the hinge point of the roof when down, is missing. I cannot find the part in the Bentley manual, is the part number for the left one the same as the right?
I need to replace it as when you get to 70 mph or greater , it whistles when the roof is down!

hello mate just go into your local dealer
and ask them they usally have them on the shelf get a pair because they are easily broken

I have just run the dealer, and they said they think they know the part, bring it in so they can check it then they will order.
Unfortunately they will be stock taking tomorrow, so it will probably be next week.
