hey, im 17 and i got a 316i for my first car because i love E30 so much, it has an m40 engine which i have added a induction kit to, i have also put on a powerflow exausht from the middle to the back, which i doubt has added any power. i was wondering if anyone knows anything that i could do to the engine that would increase the power ??
thanx:)

Welcome to the zone mate - great choice as your 1st car!

As far as modifying the m40 - TBH its really not worth it, the money you would have to spend on decent power gains would be better spent changing the engine and paying more for insurance.

I guess you could add a chip and some bigger cams if you really wanted :D

i was thinking of swapping parts on my engine with parts from bigger engines because its very easy for me to get second hand parts, is there any parts i could swap with my original parts to give me more power ?
