Am using my 327 for some track days and its going great, but noticed last time out at Cadwell that the clutch is starting to slip when pressing on so I suspect its on its last legs.

Any suggestions for a suitable replacement - original or upgrade ?

Any idea how old the clutch is?

I'm putting quite a lot more torque than was originally intended through a new standard one and it seems to be fine, and I'm pretty sure that Fozzymonster's still on a standard clutch too with his mega turbo

Is it still the 318is clutch plate? I've got a 325 touring clutch plate brand new that I could give for £50 inc p+p. Need rid of it, as it won't fit my 320. But I don't know if it'll fit yours.

No idea I'm afraid, I bought the car earlier this year off a zoner (Jimbob) and he'd put a 327 engine into a 318... and since then it had only done about 12k miles.... so can only assume the clutch wasn't changed at the time.
Is there a good way to check if its worn ? it only seems to slip on full bore changes, and then only occaisionally but its geting more frequent... just don't wnat to end up half way round a track with no drive :(

Standard 325 clutch should be up to the job. There is a way of measuring clutch wear using a special tool.
