Do any of the companies also do repairs? Like removing a flat spot?
Thanks, Mark.

i got a set of 16" alpina relicas done by lepsons last year an i'm not at all impressed.
the problems i have / had:
~ some marks on the faces of the spokes are still there.
~ the centre caps were only sprayed on the front leaving the insides vulnerable to corrosion
~ the centre caps didn't fit in the wheels after being refurbushed as the paint on both was too thick!
~ when i complained they agreed to re-do all of them if i leave the car with them for the day. when i did this, they actually ground the outside of the centre caps down on a belt sander and then opened up the recess in the wheels with a die grinder. the recess in the wheels was then touched up by hand with a small brush!!!!
~ after about 4 months the lacquer started lifting and corrosion creeping underneath. this is not covered by warranty as i had the rims diamond cut and lacquered. incidentally, there has never been any damage to instigate the corrosion, the lacquer was porpus from the start.
~ after about 9 months now i want to remove one of my centre caps and a great big (20mm x 30mm) flake of paint came off leaving heavily corroded ali underneath. this is corrosion and my wheels have no corrosion warranty.
all told, i'm not at all impressed but i'm glad the other zoners on here have had a better time.
has anyone tried Spit and Polish in kent? i need to get my wheels done again after the mess lepsons made (and the one i subsquently smashed!!!) and i can't bring myself to hand over more money to them after how they treated me last time.

they look sweet mate!
mine should be an easy refurb as the actual wheels are all fine. 3 (anthracite / polished ones) are mint bar the slight corrosion under the lacquer and the last (newish silver) one has no corrosion to speak of and no curbing.
if you could post up his details that would be great.
don't suppose any of the lepsons big-up massive have any clout (eg, know anyone who works there) to help me get a fairer deal to keet me from being so bitter. i seem to be the only person who i've heard of having problems with them so i assume they'd be keen to keep their reputation...?
