I looked at 2 bmws , One was a 325i e36 with full leather and full ac schnitzer kit , The other was the 325i e30 i have now , E30`s seem to have more of a following or is it just me ??
I prefer the drive of the e30 as well winkeye

Just wrote this in another thread but think it might apply here too. Plus I've just got my 318i back from its 325i conversion! Only just got it back so can't tell you exactly what its like but its nice to know I now have a proper engine under the my bonnet winkeye

> Sorry to but in but thought I'd make you feel better by saying that im sure what ever amount your spending/looking to spend isn't as much as the cost of getting a new car all together like a lot people do for the sake of a new fiesta to a new bmw, yet what you'll have in the end is something special. In my case I know I'm paying over the odds compared to some to get my car close to what other zoners have got simply because of the fact that I am unable to do a lot of the major work myself and so have to pay labour. As mentoned is the reason as to how I can justify what I spend on it  :)

Be majorly gutted if anything bad happened to it though coz I know insurance wouldn't pay back close to the total amount of time and cash pumped into it. Fingers crossed and touch wood I never have to 'press 1' to make a claim :(

depends on the condition of the shell of the e30. if its worth the investment put the m50 in.. safer engine by far and 20+ bhp more.

if you sold the e30 , how much would you have to give on top for the e36?
