Gearbox Oil Diff Oil Engine Oil Recommendations please (M20)

Have an E30 ALPINA C2 2.7 based on a 325i M20 with about 65,000 miles and want to change all oils Gearbox Diff Engine PAS recommendations please..? Gearbox changes are a bit stiff, wondering maybe incorrect oil, car has been stood sometime would this be possible cause.

There are lots of recommendations if you search for it. Depends how stiff your change is. Second gear can sometimes be a problem, and reading on the forum, ATF fluid is an option.

BMW always use castrol, so if you want the best, id stick with castrol!

Castrol semi-synthetic for the engine, Castrol SA-80 for the 'box and Castrol SLX-XJ for the diff (providing its a slipper) PAS is auto transmission fluid

Stuart do you know what quanities are needed for the gearbox and diff?

gearbox is about 2-3 litres i think, but i may be able to confirm that tomorrow at some point!

if the diff is a small case, its 1.1 litres and a large case diff is 1.7 litres
