I bought a "BC-enabled" turn switch and stalk on eBay to complete an OBC retrofit but on indicating for left turn it just flashes super quick time and doesn't work. I got fleeced I guess but can anyone advise whether this is fixable?

Maybe a coincidence, but check all your indicator bulbs, quick blinkers are normally a sign of a defective bulb.

No, not that. I've put the original stalk back and all is fine....
