I have just been messing around with the heater controls (had car for only a few weeks,) and I do not seem to be able to direct air towards my feet. If I move the switch the the right I can feel a little resistance and if I push it to the right it springs back towards the middle. I have tried just holding it to the right and turning off the other vents off but I still get no air to my feet. I can hear the air being pushed through the system, just not coming out of the vents.

Has anyone come across this before?

sounds to me like one of the flaps is stuck in the heater box, maybe use some stiff wire like coat hanger through the vent to try free it?

I'll take a look to see if I can see anything from the vent by the feet tomorrow morning. I would have thought it to be further up though so unreachable.
