Basically my radiator has juts starting leaking in a couple of places, but I need to delivery and collect parts from Ace Cafe (about a 220 mile round trip) tonight. Is Radweld a decent temporary solution, or should I get my push bike out?

K-Seal is much better, most of the traders use it.
Do you have another rad to go in? If not, I have a spare that I can bring to aces for ya.

Ive got a rad from an auto, but that doesn't look to be compatable as it has different pipework. How much do you want for the rad? Only im getting another 325i in a couple of weeks, so maybe I could hold out til then with the radweld? Also - radiators are different pre and post facelift arent they?

This is from a post face lift 325i Manual, its only a few years old as the receipt is with the history of the car. £10 if you want it and ill bring it to ace.
Also, if it doesnt look right, they dont have it off me! Cant say fairer then that.

radweld is shyte!

www.kalimex.co.uk you want the stuff called K-Seal

pour in & forget! Does what it says, no BS. It sorts leaks from rads as well as curing dodgy headgaskets & craked heads, blocks etc.

I have seen it on sale in my local Motorsave for £8, not sure if Halfrauds sell it. But if it ain't there, don't be tempted to buy radweld instead.

Can't recommend it highly enough, infact I would go as far as to say there should be a sticky in the tech section for anyone with headgasket problems etc.

I used it in a 730 that was loosing water quite rapidly, not a problem afterwards! Infact, I might stick some in the E30 as my water is going somewhere....

Well ive just put a bit of radweld in, going to chance it - don't have the opportunity to to get the K-Seal in time, but I think I will have a look for some soon! Steviec - Im fairly cetain the postfacelift rad won't fit - £10 is a bargain price, and a very generous offer. Cheers, anyway though.
