Is the starter motor off a 318IS the same as a 2.5 one??

Just found out my starters knackered. Only had it in a few months. Was cheap off a company on ebay. I can get hold of one of a 2.5 but is it the same as mine??

Its the people who sold me the starters fault i think?? It has a 12month warranty on it so i should get my money back. Think im gonna have to get one from euro car parts...

Right the company ses they will refund me the money for the starter if i send it back. Wheres the best place to order one??? Euro car parts, GSF???
