Well, what can I say...

Sunday afternoon- Went to a BMWCC meet- absolutely stunning day-much exotica on display and I got to drive my dream car- e34 3.8 m5.

what a buzz-just possibly the most capable motor i've ever driven- a totally different animal from the e39 m5. The e34 is is so raw and alive :D

spent the next 2 hrs debating the relative merits of the e34/e39m5 and ended up with the e39 m5 owner saying he wised he hadnt sold his e34 :mad:

then, on my way back to the flat after dinner at the parents, coming up to a roundabout doing 30mph, hit the brakes, locked the fronts and speared into a traffic island

ripped the sump, and bashed the valance :cry: :cry:

so thats next sunday spent under the car then :(

still, e34 m5, mmmmmmmm :cool:

It's not good, to see a man your size drooling like a dog Neil... :eek:

'89 325i - was an SE but not anymore, was bronze-beige metallic (yeuch!) but now techno-violet (thankfully)
'89 Toyota Corolla GTi-16 - track, hillclimb & sprint car (yeeha!)
'08 Buell XB12Ss - American engineering at it's 'best'... good fun though

LOL! and funnily enough, thats the easiest i've taken it round there in about 3 months! thought "better calm down after the blast with the car club... dont wanna have a crash" :cry:

It may be 150bhp down on the M5 but it's a baw-hair away from where my car can / will be... :D

Whereas an M5 is a few grand away... :(
