I just bought a chrome bumper 320i thanks to advice form the forum. It has bottletop alloys which are ok but not super 8). I'm hoping to replace them with BBS cross-spokes but what size (wheel and tyre)?

This car's gonna be my daily runabout so I guess 17" and 225 would be a bit of an overkill (and too heavy around town without PAS).

What's a fair price for a really good set of BBS? Are they still available new?

Thanks in advance.

They look pretty sweet mate, whats the quality like?

Id go with a set of second hand mint BBS wheels.

BUT, theres a lot to chose from. You can buy some bbs crosspoke wheels (ala 325 sport), and some nice 205/55/15 tires look oldskool) Or you can buy some BBS RS wheels on ebay, at a price of anything from a couple of hundred in shit condition, or 6-800 in refurbed condition. And the bonus of that is a)Youve got some sweetass rims that retain their money, b)they look the sex ,c)you can add a deeper rim and give it that deepdish look.

Or buy a copy and go for a bit of a compramise.

Somthing like the one above, or like mine

Just incase your wondering mate, mine are Ronal LS wheels, 7.5" so a little deeper than normal, and with a set of tyres fitted it was 575 as a package.

Keep it crossspoke mate, oldskool!!

Thank you, my good men, for your brill ideas. :thumb:

Think I'm gonna get a decent set of used BBS cross-spokes 15". Uhhhh Suits me, sir!

The BBS RS/RM looks gorgeous but at Ԛ£250+ a throw, it'll be more than my car's worth. :( Bit like the E30 number plate on the other thread. Ultra  but the sums don't add up.
