today since it was hot i painted my front grill satin black doing away with the chrome,as cheap mods go im quite pleased with the outcome,it gives the front end a more menacing look
im wondering about the black plastic rear number plate surround now,has anyone colour coded that to the car body ?and whats your opinions?

Black Grille is a must have IMHO
The numberplate surround can be removed completely, the US spec cars never had one fitted, the panel underneath may need a good clean and polish though Fuzzy

I have just bought a black grill for my car it idea is I can swap them around depending on my mood.
Only thing is as its so nice and new it makes the rest of the grill look a bit shabby, I need to get some of that plastic tratment

got my grill black and got rid of the number plate surround. when i had the car painted i had the fixing holes filled and painted but even without painting remove the plastic surround, polish with some polishing paste and T-cut and simply put some blanking screws in the fixing holes. looks good on a black car IMO and have seen it on a white car also looks good, but other colours not sure about. i would defilnatly not paint the plastic surround, will look cheap and nasty IMO.
